Excellent handmade scarf edged with intricately crocheted sequins and beads from the bridal chest... Unique!

Anatolia’s thousand and one species of plants and gaily colored flowers are reborn in the imagination and inner eye of its women. Traditionally, a Turkish young girl and women in her family make many scarves with various edgings (Turkish lace, beaded etc.) and keep them in a bridal chest along with the other Turkish handicraft until the girl gets married. After the marriage the woman wears some of them and later puts them in the chest again, this time to keep for her daughters.

Here is a very nice scarf with sequins and beads! You can use this lovely scarf for many purposes: as a shawl, headdress, belt, necklace, wristband, bandana, table-spread etc.
